Project Overview
As Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu approached the close of his first term, Lagosians were asking one defining question: What experience has his leadership created for the people of Lagos?
ARAMANDA was engaged to transform that question into an immersive narrative. Our mandate was to:
1. Shift perception from politics to lived performance, showing Lagosians what they could feel, not just what they could read.
2. Rebuild trust and emotional connection in a city recovering from COVID-19 and #EndSARS, using experiences that demonstrated empathy, presence, and renewal.
3. Reposition the Governor as the living expression of Lagos’ resilience, progress, and unstoppable momentum.
4. Design a 360° experiential campaign that brought his achievements to life through stories, touchpoints, and moments Lagosians could interact with and take pride in.
Our ambition was simple but powerful:
Market leadership like an FMCG brand—turning governance into an experience, performance into a feeling, and results into a relatable brand story every Lagosian could see, touch, and believe.

WHAT WE DID
ARAMANDA EXP activated the brief through insight-led storytelling, recognizing that powerful brands begin with powerful imagery. To shape the BOS experience, we built a rebirth narrative anchored on the Phoenix motif, a symbol of Lagos and the Governor’s shared capacity to rise stronger from adversity. This informed the thematic expression: A Greater Lagos RISING.
We brought this to life through PROJECT THUNDER, a synchronized 12-hour citywide experiential takeover integrating outdoor, digital, sea, air, and media touchpoints into one unified brand moment.
From midnight OOH bursts and laser projections across the Lagoon to dawn newspaper wraps, branded sea shows, aerial displays, and live road parades, Lagos became an immersive stage. The city didn’t just see the BOS story, it felt it, rising in real time.

The campaign delivered unprecedented awareness, emotional impact, and brand lift for Lagos State leadership.
Across 445 OOH sites and 5M+ posters, Lagos became fully wrapped in the experience, generating 14M+ daily impressions. Digital amplification added 71.5M impressions, 27.1M reach, 641K clicks, and a 1.26% CTR in just four weeks.
The hashtag #SanwoAgain drove 4.4M+ impressions, trending across Lagos and nationwide. Sentiment tracking reported 90%+ positive perception, with citizens, influencers, and media organically amplifying the narrative.
Through the fusion of PR, digital storytelling, and high-touch experiential moments, ARAMANDA turned governance into a living brand experience.
“A Greater Lagos Rising” evolved beyond a campaign, it became an emotional movement of pride, resilience, and shared hope, positioning the Governor as a leader in motion and Lagos as a city that never stops rising.
